Apostle Eric D. Harris is married to Miranda and they are the very proud parents of three daughters: Jasmine, Erika, and Christian. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a graduate of the Birmingham school system. In 1984, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for over seven years. In 1987, while in the Marine Corps and stationed in Okinawa, Japan, the Lord saved him, changed his life, and called him to ministry.
Apostle Harris is still answering this call as the founding pastor of Agape Worship Ministries and the previous Overseer of the Birmingham Metro Full Gospel District. Apostle Harris held a position as a chaplain for the Birmingham Police Department where he served as a police and the Lead Chaplain for over six years. In January of 2003, he resigned his position with the police department to give full attention to serving God and His people. He is a passionate, high-energy preacher and teacher who believes his assignment is to be an agent of challenge, change, and transformation for the people of the local church, the community in which he serves, and ultimately, the nation. He has a passion for city reaching, kingdom building, and transforming lives throughout the world with the Word of God.
